The Societal Cost of Viagra

There are 27 million men in the world on Viagra and the number continues to increase each day. With no peak in site, Pfizer, its manufacturer is making millions by improving the sexual lives of millions of men. One pundit asked us, “At what cost?”
There is now a significant increase in STD’s among sexually active middle aged men and many are blaming it on Viagra. Here’s some telling data. Over the past 10 years, rates of infections such as gonorrhoea have increased by 227 percent in men aged 45-64.
